e- Auction for IPL media rights on June 12

The Indian Premier League (IPL) media rights notification may be out for sale through e-auction, will be on June 12.

There no doubts that a good revenue jump may be observed, which will benefit India Cricket immensely. With multiple packages up for grabs, the auction process could be a multi-day affair.

Last time the e-auction method was employed by the BCCI, it was for the sale of India international cricket rights in 2018 and the process went for two days. E-auction is being used for the first time for the IPL rights. "With 2 new teams, more matches, more engagement, more venues, we are looking to take #TataIPL to newer and greater heights. The Tender document is now available for purchase," the BCCI secretary tweeted.
